With a brand new year comes new endeavors. That is why I would like to officially announce the beginning of Project Tellcen: a collection of original stories and illustrations from myself and the creative and talented @MercenaryBlade.

To better connect with you in this world littered with monetization and algorithms, Tellcen's Laundry Service has been launched on discord to comfortably exchange ideas and knowledge pertaining to art,literature and lore. For the last several months I've been meditating, and finally felt like I really needed to unplug altogether. The continued trajectory of society, government and business has led me to adopt a nihilistic view, which completely sucked the satisfaction out of everything I do.

These last three months of extremely focused analysis has led me to the realization that I have been resisting change to the point of unhealthy frustration. Yes, change is inevitable. And while most change is good intentioned, an evil element swoops in, deceives the ignorant (and usually desperate) majority, until finally there is either revolution or collapse.

So although I can't logically accept this trending deprecation of societal, political and corporate events, I must do my best to flow through it as long as possible; like the wacky-wavy-inflatable-arm-flailing tube man.

Here are several things that I will be looking into as 2023 comes around.

Art book: Complete with various sketches, processes and commentary of YOUR original characters. In addition to more frequent request posts, I'll probably be asking permission to draw some your characters.

Website: A central location to see my art without 'brand protection' BS and inquire about commissions. I like the idea of blogging, term rewards and polls like Patreon or fanbox, but without the tiered pay nonsense.

DevianArt: I will be posting only my non-original works on DA

Inktober is just around the corner and is a perfect time to open my yearly free requests. As usual, I will be taking requests of your Original Character and drawing them with a dab (or two) of my own interpretation.

Rules

1. Follow me on any social media. (It'd be rude not to, right?)

2. Leave a comment in THIS journal with a reference pic and a little something about your character.

We'll get started on Oct 1. If I get the time, I hope to draw some of them over stream as well.

Leave a comment with a thumb of your request in the comments. Be sure to add some interesting details about your character so that I can love it as much as you do!
